There is a cylinder for every work in the industries these days whether its a industrial pull rod cylinder, push rod cylinder, lift rod cylinder or rotating cylinder cylinders are used to generate force and power linear motion on OEM equipment of all types. They can move product directly or move the components inside a machine that act on the product. They do this by lifting, puling, pushing or lowering, rotating, or clamping. They can produce high force and a broad range of velocities, even stalling if needed without causing internal damage if the cylinder is of a higher quality. They can be manufactured to tolerate adverse conditions and repetitive wash down. And they come in various designs to meet the requirements of different applications in the industries.
Cylinder Types
l Basic rod style cylinder as the name implies it usually has a rod protruding from one or both ends.
l Barrel style cylinder consist of a tube and closed by sealed end pieces to form a envelop like shape.
l Pull rod cylinder the most commonly used cylinders in the industries up till this day they are non-repairable cylinders generally are constructed primarily of stainless steel, aluminum alloys for high to low pressure hydraulic system and generally used for pulling.
Basic features of industrial cylinders
l The basic features that every industrial cylinder has is bore size the in side diameter of the cylinder.
l Stroke length distance between full extension and full retraction of the piston rod.
l Designated Pressure rating designed to work at a specific pressures.
