Introduction of hydraulic prop
Hydraulic prop cylinder is a solid-walled cylinder consist of wall thickness of 20-25 cm according to the magnitude of rock pressure and diameter of the surrounding environment. Hydraulic prop bears the working temperature of 30-35 degrees Celsius. Mine support cylinder is consists of two telescoping cylinders that require hydraulic pressure and hand-operated pumps built into the prop uses half a gallon of mineral oil, which is fitted with yield valve that releases the pressure when the load exceeds. Hydraulic prop provides a quick setting and optimal initial loading, and it can be withdrawn from a far and secure place.
Application of hydraulic prop
The hydraulic prop is considered appropriate for short installation where frequent changes of location happen or where high prop settings are necessary. Mine support cylinder works best in coal mining with roof caving and backfilling, in-room and pillar mining, in long wall mining, and in ore mining also. Single hydraulic props are widely used for special sorts of mining errands such as face roadway intersection, fault zones, and roof fall areas.There is a very significant impact of hydraulic cylinder technology not only in mining but in various other applications. Due to hydraulic cylinder technology and hydraulic props the mining process have become easy and safe. There are so many robots and machine which have replaced humans for doing labor-intensive, strenuous and dangerous mining activities which used to be done by humans. But now mining has become safer and offers more job security to mining professionals.
